Ben Butler is addressing the relationship between technology and mental health with the development of a social enterprise app, Keep Appy. Devised to destigmatize mental health issues, Keep Appy helps people improve and maintain a healthy mental state. With automation and artificial intelligence on the rise, Butler hopes to introduce the correlation between psychology and productivity as a central aspect to the future of work.
“There’s an Eisenhower quote that I quite like. In his book, ‘At Ease: Stories I Tell My Friends’ he writes “Always try to associate yourself with and learn as much as you can from those who know more than you do, who do better than you, who see more clearly than you.” It’s one of the reasons that I have sought out mentors, and it’s why I wanted to become an Eisenhower Youth Leader. The opportunity to be mentored by a Fellow, as well as meeting future leaders from all over the world, is incredibly exciting.”
